Thousand Miles

Family, according to its meaning, is considered to be the smallest unit in the community. Family is where the learning process starts, from ABCs to numbers, morality to dignity, and in all aspects of life. The parents served as the first mentor of every member of the family. The elder siblings will serve as the model of the younger ones. But as soon as a child grow up, he or she will separate from his or her family and start creating his or her own life.

At the age of 25, after graduation, I became independent from my family. Supposed to be 18, but since I kept shifting courses of study, my 4-year plan in studying college, became 7 years. I came to America and got married and started to work. Being away from my family, I start to realize the things I learned from them. Learning the basics up to being a responsible person. I come to realize and think that my family makes me who I am and guide me to where I should suppose to go; leading me to the path that they think is good for me. I may sometimes not like it, but they are thinking of my own benefit and betterment. I thank God their pieces of advice worked for me, because of my respect, love and trust to them. Now, I am reaping the fruit of their enormous effort and wise strategy in leading me to the path that they wanted for me. My family put the seedlings to my mind and heart and I nurture those seedlings to become a fruit that I can use on my own benefit without questions asked. TLR (Trust, Love and Respect) serves as the fertilizers in our family. Without these fertilizers, I dont know if I will be bearing fruits right now, probably I did, but not a good one.

To my family, I will forever be grateful for everything. No amount of money that can equal to what you did into my life. I am so proud to have you as my family. You are my precious treasure that I will keep forever, in my heart, soul and mind. I might forget to put to words how much I love you, I am hoping that you will see through inside my heart how much I love all of you. I thank God for having a family like you.

God bless Us Always and keep us all in good health.

More Power!
